BIV in kindergarten. I thought Roy was a man who lived inside a rainbow.*  That moment on the circular rug stayed with me exactly how colors, systems, patterns, and pieces all fit together. Much of my work is born from my same early instinct. At my core, I am an artist. Painting, writing, time in nature, and studying energetic systems is how I quiet the world down to listen and receive ideas. But the other side of my mind is structural, and I see clearly how things work. My Capricorn moon is always building. I may not be a mathematician, but I understand systems instinctively. Birth charts, Chakras, [writing books](https://theearthsiren.com/books-and-workbooks?hsLang=en), marketing platforms ([Selkire](https://www.selkire.com)), websites, business structures ([Mojo](https://www.mojopaintingco.com)), [app building](http://www.natalroot.com), and educational frameworks. When I encounter something complex that draws my attention, my brain breaks it into pieces exactly how someone enjoys solving a jigsaw puzzle on a Sunday afternoon. *It's the same process for everything I touch:* I study it, take it apart, understand how it functions, rebuild it in my own language, and then translate it so other people can use it too. As I apply it all in real-time, constant testing and refinement is how my work evolves. This pattern shows up everywhere in my life as I work at the intersection of [creativity](https://theearthsiren.com/the-scream-essays/the-cost-of-creation-from-a-creative?hsLang=en) and bringing ideas into physical form. My ideas arrive visually and intuitively, and systems turn them into something useful to help others see the patterns of their own rainbow. *Thanks for being here.* ![Portrait of Elizabeth Schirk, astrologer and creator of The Earth Siren, based in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania](https://theearthsiren.com/hs-fs/hubfs/elizabeth%20schirk%20author%20reiki%20master.png?width=800&height=1000&name=elizabeth%20schirk%20author%20reiki%20master.png "Portrait of Elizabeth Schirk, astrologer and creator of The Earth Siren, based in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania") ## About The Earth Siren ![The Earth Siren logo features white line art of hands cradling blooming flowers, with the brand name curved around a green circle.
